Robert A. Biermann, Jr, Founder/Managing Director

Mr. Biermann’s background is architecting and operationalizing high performance business models which drive productivity improvements in the commercial marketplace. He designs systems, processes, tools and teaming that increase the effectiveness of business performance.  Over the past 20 years, he has worked with all major IT systems, and a very large number of best of breed systems. 

Mr. Biermann has also held executive leadership positions in companies ranging from $50 - $250 million in sales.  He has successfully driven national rollups for optical products/services; equipment manufacturers; and several high tech sales/distributors.  In these roles, he has held direct responsibility for corporate P&L.

    Steve Therrien, Founder/Managing Director

    Mr. Therrien's specialty is increasing the core value of a business through the development of new products and services designed to drive profitable revenue growth.  He has created launched new ventures that grew from $50 - $500 million in sales.  He has leadership experience with direct P&L responsibility.  His business focus balances the interface between sales, finance and operations. He has successfully developed the teams to tactically execute operational plans.

    Academically, he holds a Masters from Harvard University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.  His BS is from University of Massachusetts.

    Terrence M. Gilbert, Managing Director

    Mr. Gilbert has over 25+ years of diverse leadership experience in a variety of challenging business situations. Consistently recognized for his ability to identify and articulate a vision, gain commitments at all levels, and develop and deploy the resources necessary to implement the vision. His focus is on operational excellence, profitable growth through innovative sales and marketing strategies, and strategic planning and development.

    Mr. Gilbert was the president of a $3B North American transportation company that provided domestic and global supply chain services. He led a team of over 20,000 employees across a network of more than 300 facilities in the United States, Canada and Mexico.  He has successfully led organizational transformation initiatives by balancing business process improvements with growing strategic customer relationships. Gilbert believes that employee engagement drives positive change.

    He graduated from Western Illinois University with a Bachelors of Business degree.

    Bryan L. Maxwell, Managing Director

    Mr. Maxwell's background encompasses 30 years of senior executive leadership experience in highly engineered products and business systems serving the aerospace, chemical and packaging markets. Mr. Maxwell's management philosophy is that the greatest assets in any corporation are the employees. It is the successful leadership, direction and management of the collective asset that generates profits and growth.

    Mr. Maxwell was the COO of Figgie Packaging Systems, engineering and manufacturing high-end packaging systems for companies that include, Coke, Pepsi, Johnson & Johnson, Abbot Laboratories. With full P&L responsibility, he consolidated 9 divisions into one, creating a systems group with sales over $250 million in 7 countries.  Spearheaded through world class manufacturing practices and tight quality control, he successfully integrated globally and culturally diverse  business operations and management teams. 

    Education include: MBA from Kent State University and Bachelor of Science - Mechanical Engineering from the University of Houston

    Terrell N. Pim, Managing Director

    Mr. Pim has extensive executive leadership experience in advertising agencies handling Fortune 100 accounts. He has also had direct responsibility for international communications and business planning for a multi-national oil and chemicals company.  In addition he has provided consulting expertise in new product development and enterprise development to numerous corporate and entrepreneurial teams. Client companies range from start-up to corporations generating billions in revenue serving global markets. 

    Industry expertise includes automotive, agriculture, glass, banking, communications equipment and systems, and database development. Areas of focus include enterprise planning and development, communications solutions, new product development and planning for early stage companies.

    Academic degrees are held from Principia College in Economics and Case Western Reserve University, Weatherhead School of Management in Organizational Behavior. Mr. Pim teaches New Product Development and Marketing at the Weatherhead School of Management.
